The Andover Senior Center, located in the City Hall complex, conducts a variety of activities throughout the year. Most functions are open to all seniors, and memberships are available for a fee of $5.00. Meetings are held on the 1st Monday of each month with a pot luck lunch at noon, followed by a meeting and Bingo. On the 3rd Monday of each month we go out for lunch and then back to the center for Bingo.
About the Facility
The senior center facility was completely renovated in 2002. The room is large and comfortable; there are plenty of tables and chairs for meetings, meals, and other gatherings, and the kitchen and restrooms are easily accessible. The room also contains a pool table. Some magazines and other senior publications are available at no cost.
Some of the seniors’ events include the following:
Cards every Friday at 1:00pm.
Red Cross has Blood Drives
Driver refresher course with AARP for those 55 years or older
