Facility Coordinator

The City of Andover, MN (pop. 30,000+) is accepting applications for a full-time Facility Coordinator at the Andover Community Center. This position assists with the day-to-day operations of the Community Center, primarily focusing on all facility maintenance, including HVAC, refrigeration system, general electrical and plumbing, ice resurfacing operations and related ice maintenance, general repairs and overall cleanliness. Customer service is always the focus. The position requires a flexible schedule, including some evening and weekend hours, depending on facility needs.

Minimum Qualifications

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or GED, plus specialized training in mechanical maintenance, refrigeration systems, or a related field;
Three (3) years of facility operations experience; or
An equivalent combination of education and experience.

Desired Qualifications

Trade school/apprenticeship training
STAR and/or IAIM certifications
Ice Arena experience, including ice resurfacer operations and ice maintenance.
First Class C Boilers License (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
Demonstrated self-starter

Salary Range: $63,376 – $77,944 annually
