COVID-19 Preparedness Update

The City of Andover and Andover Community Center are actively engaged with the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH), Anoka County Public Health and other local partners following the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) protocols with, regard to the COVID-19 virus.

Individuals and organizations utilizing the Andover Community Center need to follow the ACC COVID-19 Preparedness Plan.

maskiconEffective July 25, 2020, per the Governor’s Executive Order 20-81, people in Minnesota are required to wear a face covering in all indoor businesses and public indoor spaces unless alone. Under Paragraph 10 of the Executive Order, face coverings may be temporarily removed under the following circumstances: a. When participating in organized sports in an indoor business or indoor public space while the level of exertion makes it difficult to wear a face covering. b. When exercising in an indoor business or public indoor space such as a gym or fitness center, while the level of exertion makes it difficult to wear a face covering, provided that social distancing is always maintained.
