Crosstown Blvd Trail / Boardwalk (C.P. 17-17)

Update 6/6/19: Fabrication of a handrail on the south end of the boardwalk is underway.  The goal is to have this installed in early to mid July. The boardwalk will remain closed until the handrail has been installed.

Update 5/17/19: The bituminous trail has been completed.  The boardwalk is complete with the exception of a handrail on the southern portion of the boardwalk. The boardwalk will remain closed until the handrail is completed.

Update 6/29/18: Bids are due for this project July 13, 2018.  Construction on the bituminous trail will take place this summer.  The boardwalk may not be constructed until this winter or next spring.

Identified in the City's Capital Improvement Plan is construction of a trail from Bunker Lake Boulevard north to 140th Avenue on the east side of Crosstown Boulevard.  This will include a boardwalk over the wetland south of Fire Station #1.  The City is currently in the design phase for this project. This will likely be a 2018 construction project.
