The city offers a spring and fall "Recycling Day" to residents at the public works facility in April and September. Watch for advertisement in the city newsletter for date, time and prices for acceptable items.The Fall Recycling Day will be September 8th from 9:00am - 1:00pm.
Items accepted on Recycling Day include clothing, appliances, electronics /TVs, fluorescent bulbs, motor vehicle batteries, rechargeable batteries, tires and used antifreeze. THERE MAY BE A CHARGE FOR SOME ITEMS.
Mattresses and box springs are $15 each, regardless of size.
No garbage or hazardous waste is accepted.

Below you will find a complete list of items accepted and their prices.
Also accepted for no charge: Batteries, scrap metal, bicycles, propane tanks, usable household items, books, dvds, eyeglasses.
